The Maharashtrian Hirwa Watan is a green spice paste used to marinate meat and fish. It can be stored in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.

Ingredients:

[Standard Measure – 1 cup = 200 ml.]

  • Green Corriander – 1 cup (packed)
  • Green Chillies – 4 to 6
  • Garlic Cloves – 20
  • Ginger – 2 inch

Grind all the ingredients to a fine paste and store in the refrigerator for use as required.
